Our History
ABT was established in 1989 in a 28 m2 room as a sole proprietorship. Since its inception, ABT has been primarily focused on software development. In 1989, ABT started developing and selling the ABT Commercial Integrated program. In 1990, they began producing and selling the APS program for PVC window manufacturers. Due to the widespread interest in this program throughout Turkey, ABT directed its efforts towards further developing it. In 1992, due to its rapid growth, ABT relocated to a larger office space of 100 m2 to accommodate its expanding operations. During this time, ABT continued to enhance its work and introduced the PenCAD program. PenCAD was more graphics-oriented and user-friendly compared to APS. ABT's growth was so rapid that in 1994, they moved again to a 200 m2 office space.
The number of employees had increased to 12, and ABT's development continued alongside its products. In addition to PenCAD, they also released the ACS program for double-glazed window manufacturers. While these programs ran on the DOS system and gained significant popularity in the market, ABT simultaneously worked on adapting their software to new systems. As a result of these efforts, the Windows version, which started development in 1995, was released in 1997, and ABT relocated to their own 400 m2 office space. This milestone marked a turning point for ABT and the PVC industry. The ABT programs, which were met with interest and appreciation throughout Turkey and other countries, continued to be developed in this office. Since 1998, ABT has been able to keep its customers up to date with the developments through its website, http://www.abt.com.tr, and has continued to be the IT center for the PVC industry.
Recognizing the deficiencies in the IT sector, ABT decided to focus on the AbtPro program, their Commercial Integrated software, starting from 2000, and expand their dealership network. AbtPro is a comprehensive program that allows businesses to easily manage processes such as Current Accounts, Inventory, Invoices, Dispatch Notes, Orders, Checks, Promissory Notes, Personnel, Quotations, Installments, Accounting, Foreign Currency, Banks, Reminders, and Important Information. In the beginning of 2009, our company completed the CE module and made it available to window and double-glazed window manufacturers. With our CE module, which was the first of its kind in Turkey, many window manufacturers obtained the authorization to use the CE label.
